Terms of Service

Last updated: May 15, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Mint Leave, a leave management platform provided by Mint Solutions Inc. (“Mint Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing to Mint Leave, inviting users, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Mint Leave on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization. In that case, “you” and “Customer” refer to the organization, and also to its authorized users where applicable.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Mint Leave.

1. The Mint Leave service

Mint Leave is a SaaS leave management system designed to help organizations manage workforce leave and related administrative workflows.

Mint Leave may include features for:

  • organization and workspace setup;
  • user invitations and account access;
  • role-based access for HR Admins, Managers, and Employees;
  • employee departments, locations, managers, and hire dates;
  • leave policies and leave types;
  • holidays and leave years;
  • leave requests, approvals, rejections, and cancellations;
  • leave balances, entitlements, accruals, opening balances, carryovers, and adjustments;
  • in-app and email notifications;
  • reports and exports;
  • subscription, billing, seat limits, and read-only access enforcement.

Mint Leave is intended for legitimate internal business and workforce administration purposes. You may not use Mint Leave for unlawful, harmful, infringing, or unauthorized purposes.

Mint Leave does not provide legal, tax, payroll, accounting, immigration, employment, or HR compliance advice. You are responsible for ensuring that your organization’s use of Mint Leave complies with applicable laws and internal policies.

2. Accounts and authority

2.1 Customer account

A Mint Leave workspace is created for an organization, company, or similar business entity. The person who creates or administers the workspace must have authority to act on behalf of that organization.

2.2 Authorized users

You may invite authorized users to access your Mint Leave workspace. Authorized users may include HR administrators, managers, employees, consultants, or other personnel you authorize.

You are responsible for:

  • deciding who should access your workspace;
  • assigning appropriate roles and permissions;
  • removing access when a user no longer needs it;
  • ensuring user information is accurate;
  • ensuring authorized users comply with these Terms.

2.3 Account security

You and your authorized users are responsible for protecting account credentials and keeping login information confidential.

You must notify us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised or used without authorization.

Mint Leave may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe credentials have been compromised, the service is being misused, or action is needed to protect Mint Leave, customers, users, or data.

2.4 Email verification and invitations

Mint Leave may require users to verify their email address before accessing certain features.

Where a user is invited by an organization, invitation acceptance may be used to verify that the invited user controls the invited email address.

You are responsible for inviting users only where you have a lawful basis and authority to do so.

3. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for your organization’s use of Mint Leave, including all activity by authorized users under your workspace.

You are responsible for:

  • configuring leave policies, leave types, holidays, balances, entitlements, departments, locations, managers, and other workspace settings;
  • ensuring leave rules entered into Mint Leave match your organization’s policies and legal obligations;
  • reviewing balances, entitlements, carryovers, reports, and exports for accuracy;
  • making employment, HR, payroll, compliance, and administrative decisions;
  • communicating with employees about your organization’s policies and data practices;
  • obtaining any required notices, consents, or authorizations from users or employees;
  • protecting reports or exports downloaded from Mint Leave;
  • ensuring that data entered into Mint Leave is lawful, accurate, and appropriate.

Mint Leave helps process and organize information. Mint Leave does not make employment decisions for you.

4. Organization separation and workspace access

Mint Leave is designed to keep each organization’s workspace separate from other organizations’ workspaces.

Users may belong to more than one organization. In that case, access and permissions are resolved based on the active workspace selected by the user and the role assigned by the relevant organization.

You must not attempt to access another customer’s workspace, data, accounts, systems, or organization context.

If you believe you have been given access to information you should not see, you must notify us promptly and stop accessing that information.

5. Trials, subscriptions, billing, and payment

5.1 Free trial

Mint Leave may offer a free trial. Trial length, included seats, features, and limits may be shown in the product, on the pricing page, or during signup.

At the end of a trial, you may need an active subscription or payment method to continue using the service.

If a trial ends without an active subscription, Mint Leave may restrict the workspace, including placing it into read-only mode.

5.2 Subscription plans

Mint Leave may offer different plans with different features, usage limits, seat limits, support levels, or billing terms.

Not all features may be available on every plan.

We may update available plans and features from time to time, provided that we do not materially reduce the core functionality of your active subscription during the paid subscription period without reasonable notice.

5.3 Seats and active members

Mint Leave subscription pricing may be based on seat limits or active memberships.

You are responsible for managing active users in your workspace. Deactivating users may affect seat usage depending on the product rules in effect at the time.

If your workspace reaches or exceeds its seat limit, Mint Leave may:

  • prevent adding or reactivating additional active members;
  • place pending members into a pending seat-upgrade state;
  • prompt an HR Admin or billing contact to upgrade seats;
  • restrict certain write actions until billing or seat issues are resolved.

5.4 Payment processing

Mint Leave uses Stripe or another payment processor to process payments.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Mint Leave and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for subscription fees, seat changes, renewals, applicable taxes, and other charges you accept.

Mint Leave does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers.

5.5 Automatic renewal

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, in an order form, or in the product, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.

You are responsible for canceling your subscription before renewal if you do not want it to renew.

5.6 Failed payments and billing restrictions

If payment fails, your subscription becomes past due, or billing information is not updated, Mint Leave may notify you and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.

If the issue is not resolved, Mint Leave may:

  • restrict access to paid features;
  • place the workspace in read-only mode;
  • suspend access;
  • terminate the subscription, subject to these Terms.

5.7 Read-only mode

Mint Leave may place a workspace in read-only mode when required by billing status, trial expiration, payment failure, subscription cancellation, or other account limitations.

In read-only mode, users may be able to view certain existing information, but write actions may be blocked. For example, users may be prevented from creating or editing members, policies, balances, leave requests, approvals, invitations, reports, settings, or other organization records.

Read-only mode is intended to preserve access to existing data while preventing new operational changes until the underlying issue is resolved.

5.8 Taxes

Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, levies, or similar governmental charges, except taxes based on Mint Leave’s income.

Mint Leave may collect taxes where required or where supported by its payment processor.

5.9 Refunds

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

If you cancel a subscription, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the current paid billing period, unless access is suspended or terminated under these Terms.

6. Cancellation, suspension, and termination

6.1 Cancellation by you

You may cancel your subscription through the billing settings, customer portal, or by contacting support where self-service cancellation is not available.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already paid unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

6.2 Suspension by Mint Leave

Mint Leave may suspend or restrict access to the service if:

  • payment is overdue;
  • you breach these Terms;
  • your use creates security, legal, operational, or reputational risk;
  • we reasonably believe your account or workspace has been compromised;
  • we are required to do so by law;
  • continued access could harm Mint Leave, customers, users, or third parties.

Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

6.3 Termination by Mint Leave

Mint Leave may terminate your subscription or access if:

  • you materially breach these Terms and do not cure the breach within a reasonable period after notice;
  • you fail to pay required fees;
  • you misuse the service;
  • you violate applicable law;
  • providing the service becomes unlawful or materially impractical;
  • your account remains inactive for an extended period, where permitted.

6.4 Effect of termination

Upon termination or expiration:

  • your right to access and use Mint Leave ends, except for any limited post-termination access we provide;
  • you remain responsible for fees due before termination;
  • certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply, including confidentiality, payment obligations, ownership, limitations of liability, indemnities, and dispute provisions.

6.5 Data export and deletion after termination

After termination or expiration, we may provide a limited period during which authorized users can export Customer Data, unless termination resulted from unlawful activity, security risk, non-payment, or serious breach.

After that period, Mint Leave may delete or anonymize Customer Data, unless retention is required or permitted for legal, billing, audit, security, backup, dispute-resolution, or compliance reasons.

7. Acceptable use and restrictions

You must not, and must not allow others to:

  • use Mint Leave for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, or unauthorized purposes;
  • access or attempt to access another customer’s workspace, data, accounts, or systems;
  • interfere with, disrupt, overload, or degrade the service;
  • probe, scan, penetration test, or test the vulnerability of the service without written authorization;
  • bypass, disable, or interfere with security or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or create derivative works of the service, except where prohibited by law from restricting such activity;
  • use automated scraping, crawling, bots, or similar tools except as expressly permitted;
  • upload malware, viruses, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt systems;
  • upload or process data you do not have the right to use;
  • use Mint Leave to build or benchmark a competing product without our written permission;
  • resell, lease, sublicense, or provide Mint Leave to third parties except as permitted by your subscription;
  • misrepresent your identity or authority;
  • use Mint Leave in a way that violates employment, labor, privacy, anti-spam, export control, sanctions, or other applicable laws.

Mint Leave may investigate violations and may suspend or terminate access where appropriate.

8. Customer Data

We will try not to materially reduce the core functionality of the paid service during an active subscription period without reasonable notice.

We may add, remove, rename, or change features, provided that such changes do not materially remove the core value of the subscribed service.

Beta, preview, experimental, or early-access features may be modified or discontinued at any time and may contain errors.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we may provide notice by email, in-app notification, website notice, or another reasonable method.
